Landing Page Legal Guidelines
Legal and compliance requirements for direct campaign links to Reach-hosted checkout, including disclosures, accessibility, privacy, and approval.
Build compliant, approval-ready campaign pages that link directly to checkout. Follow these requirements before publishing any landing page, banner, or campaign.
Legal review required: This is practical guidance, not legal advice. Confirm your specific obligations with legal counsel.
Before you launch
Reach must approve every landing page, promotional banner, and marketing campaign before public release. Submit later changes for approval too.
Broadband Label compliance
Reach generates a unique Broadband Label for every mobile plan. Use the label with its associated plan.
Display the actual label at every point of sale. This includes every place customers view or compare plan pricing.
Do not replace the label with an icon, link, popup, or expandable element. Display the actual label close to the associated plan.
Show it across channels. Include labels on websites, apps, retail displays, and account portals.
Keep it nearby. Place the label near the plan and related marketing information.
Keep claims aligned. Advertisements and customer communications must match the corresponding label.
Accessibility and WCAG
Landing pages must comply with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This W3C standard helps people with disabilities use digital content.
Provide descriptions of your products’ accessibility features when Reach requests them.
Advertising and disclosure standards
Keep every advertisement and website representation truthful and non-misleading. State essential service details clearly and conspicuously near the offer.
Do not rely solely on a click-through disclosure where that disclosure is insufficient.
Clearly and conspicuously means readily noticeable, readable, understandable, and audible where relevant. Consider size, color, contrast, location, duration, and audibility.
Do not make unsupported claims about 5G Priority Access, coverage, ratings, U.S.-based support, or flexibility.
Service terms and commitments
Do not make promises that require Reach to change its service, operations, support, billing, policies, or terms.
Reach must approve these promises in writing through a signed agreement beforehand. This includes guarantees, service levels, credits, refunds, free trials, and cancellation rights.
Unlimited plans
Use unlimited only when no billing-cycle data quantity limit applies.
If speeds become restricted, place a clear disclosure beside the unlimited claim. Explain what triggers throttling and the maximum throttled speed.
The rate plan provides unlimited data. The first ___ gigabytes each month are provided at ___ speed, or the maximum speed available from the serving cell site. After that, the plan provides unlimited data at a maximum speed of ___ Megabits per second.
Savings, discounts, and free offers
Support every savings claim with a reasonable basis. Comparisons must use similar services and explain material differences.
For a price, discount, or saving with conditions, clearly disclose:
All eligibility requirements and material conditions.
Rebate requirements and credit delivery timing.
Required actions, including trade-ins, commitments, or automatic payments.
For a free offer, disclose every material requirement. Do not increase a required purchase price to recoup the free item’s cost.
Switcher offers
Switcher offers must state:
Eligible fees and whether payment goes to a customer or third party.
The reimbursement method, if it is not cash or check.
Qualification requirements and payment timing beyond 30 days.
Service provider and carrier branding
That’s My Mobile is the carrier and merchant/carrier of record for FCC purposes. Subscribers contract directly with That’s My Mobile.
Clearly identify That’s My Mobile as the service provider on your website, Broadband Label, and marketing materials. Reproduce its approved terms, privacy notice, and network management disclosures.
Do not use an underlying carrier’s name, logo, trademarks, slogans, network claims, or imagery in public materials.
Do not identify the MNO as your wireless provider. Do not compare with its service. Do not imply its responsibility for your service or financial obligations.
Only answer a specific subscriber’s private question about the underlying network when necessary. Use only the approved wording: “Service is provided on the Verizon/T-Mobile/AT&T Wireless network.”
Data privacy and CPNI
Collect only personally identifiable information needed to activate and provide mobile services. Use that information only for those purposes.
Additional collection or processing requires applicable privacy-law compliance, required consents and notices, and Reach’s prior written approval.
Safe Connections Act requirements
Display the required Safe Connections Act notice prominently on your website and mobile application. The notice must be easy to find, including on support pages.
The notice must explain:
Available survivor service options and eligibility requirements.
That line separation cannot require penalties, fees, or other limitations.
Lifeline support availability for qualifying survivors.
Provide notices in every advertised language and accessible format. Follow the Reach-required format and standards.
Third-party licenses
Hold a license for every font, image, logo, and other material used on your website.
Required website documents
Publish the approved versions of these documents:
Terms and Conditions
Privacy Policy
Network Management Practices Policy
Safe Connections Act notice
