Network Choice
Choose the launch network based on footprint-level coverage and operating tradeoffs. Do not pick the network by assumption. Pick it by footprint data.
Which network to launch on
Reach supports all three major US carriers: Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. By default, Reach launches ISPs on Verizon. The platform has built-in multi-carrier flexibility and can support any of the three. The right network depends on coverage in your specific footprint.
How to decide
Run a coverage analysis for your actual service area.
The right network for a rural Kansas ISP is often different from the right network for a suburban Mid-Atlantic operator. Do not skip the coverage analysis. It is quick and removes guesswork.
While Reach supports all three major US carriers — Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile — we do not recommend launching a mobile service that supports all three networks simultaneously. While technically feasible, operating across all three carriers is contractually complex, creates a fragmented customer experience, and makes it significantly harder for agents to sell effectively.
Reach's recommendation is to launch on a single network and expand only if there is a clear, outstanding strategic reason to do so.
